LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS & SPATIAL DESIGN
Creating intentional spaces that inspire curiosity, engagement, creativity and active learning.
Creating Intentional spaces that inspire inquiry, creativity, focus, and active learning.
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia concept of the environment as the third, I work alongside educators and organisations, to design purposeful learning environments that foster agency, creativity, engagement, collaboration, and belonging. Together we explore how the built environment, materials, and aesthetics can become active participants in children’s learning.

- Atelier and creative learning spaces
- Learning environments as the third teacher
- Material organisation, accessibility, and visibility
- Aesthetics and educational identity
- Flexible and responsive learning environments
- Reflect on the educational messages communicated by space
- Reimagine environments through a pedagogical lens
- Create spaces that encourage inquiry, exploration and collaboration
- Improve organisation, accessibility and visibility of materials
- Strengthen connections between learning and design
From a single classroom or atelier redesign, to the development of whole-school learning environments, support is designed in response to the unique context, interests, and aspirations of your school, centre, organisation, or community.
